Email Search and Cell Phone Search
It can be a real pain working out how to find someone, especially if you are starting with little
information about that person. With the advent of the internet , however, it has become increasingly easier than it used to be to
find someone using your computer. Here we will consider the various ways to find people, their email address or cell phone
number and there are different people locator tools to help in your search. This is how simple folk like you and me can save
time and money gathering the information we need.
Have you lost contact with an old classmate or friend from your university days? Do you want to
check out a prospective employee credentials? Or are you looking to get involved with someone socially or in a business venture
and you want to make sure you know enough about any past history they may have?
The various people locator tools are provided to help find people using your computer and the
internet. The people you are looking for will almost certainly have some kind of identifying information located somewhere on the
internet....It may be a telephone number in the white or yellow pages, a cell phone number, an email id or it might
be part of a High School alumni list.
Before the internet came on the scene, we would have to hire a private investigator and this was
often a costly exercise to get the information we wanted. Private investigators used to track down the search subject
manually, in much the same way as we can down do on the internet in a matter of minutes. This is fast and efficient even on
a global scale. It used to be painful, but now its a breeze if we just have even the smallest amount of information with which to
begin.
There are online global communities (Orkut, Faceboo, Hi5 and You Tube). These are great people
finder tools. Most of those who are active on the internet have their profiles on some of these communities. Aside from locating
people, these programs can let you know what the missing people are doing and up to these days. You may well find out this way
even more than you knew about those people when you were directly in contact with them.
There are also several specialized directories on the internet that may prove fruitful in your
search for people. Such directories may categorise people according to the football league they played in, the High School
they used to be at or sports clubs they were part of.
If you have a old phone number or an address where they used to stay, you could try a reverse look
up directory. These directories are continually updated from various sources on the internet. There are both free and paid
services on the internet. Usually the free services provide very limited results and are not updates as often as the paid
services, so using them you may not find what you are looking for.
